In the latest version (V4.0.1), we've introduced significant enhancements to streamline data entry and improve navigation. New report builders offer easier and more flexible reporting options.
This version also introduces features for enhanced accountability, allowing tracking of chemicals used and registering quantities utilised throughout an academic year, alongside the date of last use for each chemical. We've incorporated a 'used-by' date field and a 'SYC' field, which highlights chemicals of particular concern based on Home Office SYC (Secure Your Chemicals Education) guidance.
Additionally, every applicable chemical now includes a direct link to the CLEAPSS HazCard (CLEAPSS membership required), providing comprehensive safety information and making our software a complete solution.
By utilising this system, you'll maintain accurate records of your chemicals, their storage locations, and quantities on hand. Crucially, you'll ensure compliance with Home Office SYC and DfE guidance regarding the safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials and chemicals.
